week 13 Reflection - benifits and limitations of blogs in the classroom


The blogs are used as reminders and notes because they are used to write down the most important items you would like to achieve. Nowadays blogs are considered as one of the most modern and developed equipment.Blogs are used to take notes because its clear that humans forget things easily. I use it daily at school to write down the meeting times , complaints , speeches and some other notes about teachers , students , classes or the teaching process in general.
Blogs can be used to strengthen and transform classroom learning. By using blogging as both an extension and enrichment to classroom practices, student learning in these classes was more individualized, relationships between students and significant others (including teachers) were nurtured, and students were given new ways to interact with the concepts and their community that are uncommon in many classrooms.
I have about benefit of blog which are:·
1 Doing reflect every week help me to think in want I took and did also how to benefit from that and improve myself.
2 Interact with other people outside to know their opinions and suggestions in my work or reflect·
3 It helps me to write about important things for me.
4Encourage me to share and interact with others.
5 Enhance me to be creative and I am really happy to have my special blog and share it with my friends.

I sincerely believe using blog software to manage certain kinds of content on a web site such as an online media room, to archive newsletters, post frequently asked questions and to provide product updates can make a site that is otherwise very search engine un-friendly, become a viable source of great rankings. This applies to both regular search engines as well as blog search engines. These are applications for a blog besides the common use as a platform to increase credibility and communicate .

week 11 Reflection - ICT as tutor




Computer it very important in our life to the school .
Computer is teaching factual information to students .
It can be used to enhance the instruction in the classroom.
It can be used in the form of tutorial,simulation, game and drill -and practice for example in the geography develop the people for the used computer is search how to search.
For the features of the games for the student is interactive and challenging ,involve competition and not all games are effective and education
The computer can have simulation program which is can be very useful. The simulation will let the students enjoy and have fun. Computer programs and web Sites has tutorial , simulation , and other games that help students gain more information in quicker and easier way instead of the conventional way of teaching. Students are motivated when multimedia is used .




The teachers are need to make careful when selecting the any programs and appropriate materials are being for their own context.

week 9 Reflection -ICT as Social constructive maind tools



On this subject whe study the studies about ICT as social constructive. It is one person spreading the idea to a bigger audience in an open communication method. Elements of online discussion are synchronous, anywhere and time and reflective thinking and knowledge sharing. Advantages of ICT conversation tools are sharing thoughts with other people.

Why is teacher planning important for students?

When need to construct the concept mapping
What is a concept map? A concept map presents the relationships among a set of connected concepts and ideas. It is a tangible way to display how your mind "sees" a particular topic. By constructing a concept map, you reflect on what you know and what you don't know. In a Concept Map, the concepts, usually represented by single words enclosed in a rectangle (box), are connected to other concept boxes by arrows. A word or brief phrase, written by the arrow, defines the relationship between the connected concepts. Major concept boxes will have lines to and from several other concept boxes generating a network. There are many sites on the Internet that provide additional background on Concept Maps of which the following are a few.
Steps in Making a Concept Map
Write down major terms or concepts about a topic.
Identify the most general, intermediate, and specific concepts.
Begin drawing the concept map:
Concepts are circled
Place the most general concepts at the top
Place intermediate concepts below general concepts
Put specific concepts on bottom
Draw lines between related concepts.
Label the lines with linking words to indicate how the concepts are related.
To be effective maps need to be :-easy to modify -easy to add information and easy to modify handwritten .

week 6 Reflection-The role of ICT -WebQest

Understand the 4 rules of classroom behaviour management .
The rules of classroom is :-
Rules :- rules define general standards for behaviour .example is positive classroom climate is better fostered by rules expressed as do instead of don't.
Routines:- routines refer to specific activities or situations .examples how do you want students to enter and leave the classroom.
Rights:- the values agreed by the school and the classroom community , example one value might be that all children have the right to learn in a staff .
Responsibilities :- along with this right is the responsibility of the principal .

Student centered learning demands not only that teachers are experts in their fields but also and more importantly that they understand how people learn.
